FamilyDash terms of service

What this is

FamilyDash is a private family dashboard. Each installation belongs to a single household and is used by that household: there are no accounts for anyone outside it, and no household can see another's.

Using it

Access is limited to the parents of the household and the family members who use the tablet at home. Parents administer the household and are responsible for what they enter into it. Please do not attempt to reach a household you are not a member of.

Google accounts

Connecting a Google account is optional. It grants FamilyDash read-only access to that account's calendars, used only to display events on the household's dashboard, and read-only access to the Google Photos albums a parent selects for the device, used only to display those pictures. You may disconnect at any time from parent mode or from your Google account permissions. Handling of that data is described in the privacy policy.

No warranty

FamilyDash is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, may show stale information, and may lose data. Do not rely on it for anything that matters, and keep your own record of appointments that you cannot afford to miss.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using FamilyDash, including missed events, lost data or interrupted service.

Changes and ending

These terms may change, and the new version will appear here with a new date. The operator may stop running FamilyDash, or remove a household's access, at any time.
